Derek S. Rajavuori is an accomplished personal injury attorney dedicated to helping people who have suffered due to the negligence of others. With a deep commitment to justice and the desire to provide his clients with approachable, friendly legal representation, Derek specializes in a wide range of personal injury cases, including truck accidents, car wrecks, slip and falls, workplace accidents, product injuries, civil rights violations, 1983 cases, and wrongful death.

Derek brings a wealth of expertise to the table. A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law, he began his career by working as a law clerk for a trial judge and later as a Staff Attorney for the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in Atlanta. His career path also includes several years at a prominent international law firm, where he defended Fortune 500 companies in severe injury and fatality cases across the United States.

Although Derek gained unparalleled experience during his time as a defense attorney, he eventually recognized that his true calling was to serve ordinary people who need a good lawyer. Derek now uses his prior experience as a defense attorney to his clients' advantage, passionately representing individuals and their families across a wide spectrum of cases. In the past year, Derek has helped his clients obtain more than $10 million in total compensation.

Derek lives in the Atlanta area with his wife, son, and two dogs. When he’s not in the courtroom, Derek enjoys fishing, playing music, and hiking with his family. Committed to his community, he volunteers with the Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta and serves as a Dunwoody Ambassador. His dedication to justice and service underscores his commitment to helping those in need of expert legal representation.
