I started working as a VW mechanic back in 1972 as a way to pay for college.In 1979 I moved to Atlanta and worked as a camera technician for Pentax Camera Co. They sponsored my first race car as I raced and reaired cars on the side. In 1983 I started as a full time Mercedes mechanic with Atlanta Classic Cars. They sent me to Mercedes school several times and gave me plenty of on the job training. In 1993 I started Startech Auto and built this company on a shoe string to what it is today 26 years later. We are a small shop, but pride ourselves in producing high quality work with a personal touch. We have many customers that have been with us more than 15 years.
