She's either running businesses, married life, kids, ministry, or even errands...no longer having the time to spend an entire day in the salon. Traditionally, women visited the salon to have their hair serviced and styled, while also receiving soul therapy and feel good from her stylist/friend/therapist/motivator. You could say it was a sanctuary of fellowship for women. What happened in the salon stayed in the salon. It was a place to take off the mask and "let your hair down". A place to celebrate being a woman. A place to feel safe from insecurities or worries. When her hair is right, a woman is empowered to take on the world! Part of my mission is to maintain that tradition and standard of service. You should always leave better than you came.
