Maria started her career in Washington D.C. where she was born and raised. In all actuality she was doing hair at the age of 15. Later in life Maria moved to Atlanta and opened her first hair salon in the Dunwoody Ga area and expanded into the Norcross Ga. Area.
After many years of being a salon owner, decided to become an independent one on one Studio owner working in the Johns Creek Ga area @ Sola Salon Studios.
Maria has taught advanced education in haircutting and design work for numerous independent salons and stylists representing Aquage professional hair care line.
In addition, one of Maria’s hair designs was chosen to be published from over 12,000 entries submitted to BehindTheChair.com in 2012, a major magazine and website for the beauty industry.
Since the beginning of her career she has been dedicated to providing a professional salon experience.
She does this by investing money and time in advance education on a quarterly basis.
