At Sugarloaf Montessori School, we work with children from the ages of 12 months all the way through 5th grade. We offer a prepared environment for the children where they have the freedom to choose from an array of beautiful materials to work with. These Montessori materials give the children a solid foundation on the concepts they are working on.
Montessori is not a one size fits all curriculum. The children are free to explore and develop concepts in all of the subject areas. They have control and choice over their work. This fosters a natural focus over their work. The children often exceed their traditional school grade levels. The greatest impact of a Montessori education is the love of learning that is instilled in them.
